Police spokes person Fred Enanga has come out and confirm to public about the frequent bomb attacks that have killed and injured many in Komamboga and Lungala along Masaka high way. Fred Enanga has confirmed that the ADF of the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo are responsible for the bomb attacks that are in the country for now.
In a press conference, Fred Enanga said the following to the media that interviewed him , “We have established from the hallmarks of the attack and the bomb materials recovered, a connection with the attack that occurred three days ago in Komamboga and could have been prepared in one place or by the same group of attackers. This, therefore, implies that the attackers are using different strategies of suicide vests and belts, armed assailants on bodabodas or motorcycles, and physical bomb attacks, targeting soft spots,”Enanga said.
Enanga said that they have already come to know that the suspect is a commander of the ADF know as Muzafalu who has already been on the wanted list of the Uganda Police on issues concerning terrorism and murder. Fred Enanga has continued to display a photo of the suspect that set up the bomb that killed people in a Swift Bus that exploded in Lungala along Masaka road. The first bomb attack was at Komamboga at a bar that killed two on spot and left many with serious injuries and the second bomb attack was just after 24 hours from the Komamboga incident that happed in the Swift Bus that killed two on spot and left many with injuries.
This has put all people at tension leading to an emergency presidential address happening on the 28th of October 2021. Is is known that the president of the nation is to address the country about issues concerning security and the covid-19 updates. The presidential address was announced by the Press Secretary state house Hon. Linda Nabusayi Wamboka and she said the following, “The president of Uganda will address the nation about the security matters and the covid-19 matters. This National address will be live on all media stations allover the country and will be live at exactly 8pm East African Time” Said Linda Nabusayi .
