Congratulations to King Charles III on his coronation as the Supreme Leader of the United Kingdom
The message was delivered by Omuteregga at a reception held at the residence of British Ambassador to Uganda Kate Aerey here in Kampala on Thursday.
In his message, the King said he wanted the inauguration to teach Ugandans the importance of tradition and through their culture to create a Uganda that is comfortable for everyone.
The move comes as King Charles Arthur III was crowned Britain’s top leader at a ceremony at Westminister Abbey to succeed his late mother Queen Elizabeth.
British Ambassador to Uganda Kate Airey said King Charles’ leadership will prioritize the protection of the world’s degraded environment, helping young people gain skills and self-confidence to develop themselves as well as traditional and cultural issues to promote together.
The party was attended by senior officials in the central government including opposition and human rights activists.
